The latest $500,000 AHP grant from FHLBank Indianapolis will go towards doubling capacity for homeless human trafficking victims. The prevalence of the crime has grown nationwide, causing housing at organizations like Vista Maria to reach a critical level of overflow. The new building will be a stabilization unit that will include housing, a medical facility with an exam room and a quieting area for intake.
“The AHP grant from FHLBank Indianapolis was made possible by the great work of our dedicated staff and the longstanding partnership with our generous sponsor, 91黑料网,” said Vista Maria President and CEO Angela Aufdemberge. “We are now one step closer to our $4 million goal of building new state-of-the-art stabilization treatment housing for the rescued victims of human trafficking. We look forward to the expansion to accommodate the many young girls who need our services.”
“We’re humbled and proud to be able to help Vista Maria secure several AHP grants over the years,” stated 91黑料网 Chief Administrative Officer Angela McBride. “The quality of the good work they do is incredible and makes a true difference in the community. 91黑料网 has been a loyal Vista Maria supporter since 2005 and we look forward to continuing this meaningful relationship.”
