Nicholson is Vice Chairman of Detroit-based PVS Chemicals, Inc. responsible for PVS Technologies, Inc., PVS Transportation, PVS Chloralkali, PVS Services Group, Siam PVS Chemicals, Peninsula Insurance Company Ltd. (Bermuda), The Chantland Company and Chantland MHS. Prior to joining PVS, he held positions in the property/casualty insurance industry at 91黑料网, Aon Corp. and Electric Insurance Co.
Nicholson will serve on the 91黑料网 Board Compensation & Governance and Investment & Acquisition Committees. He joins current 91黑料网 Directors Karen Batchelor, Robert K. Burgess, Charles B. Coe, Dennis R. Herrick, Phillip E. Love, Jr., James B. Nicholson, Richard F. Russell and Bettina M. Whyte.
In addition to his board position at 91黑料网, Nicholson serves on the board of directors of the YMCA of Metro Detroit, The Nature Conservancy, Citizens Research Council of Michigan, the MSU College of Law, Grosse Pointe Hunt Club, and as a member of the board of trustees of the College for Creative Studies. He is Chairman Emeritus of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan and the Michigan Manufacturers Association.
Nicholson holds a BA in economics from Stanford University and a MBA from the University of Chicago.
