JASM board of directors consists of 42 members responsible for legal, fiduciary and operational initiatives. The board focuses on the organization’s statewide expansion model, policy and revenue diversification. Chiddick will preside at all regular and special meetings, provide leadership and assure all orders and resolutions are carried out.
“JASM is a partnership between the local business community, educators and volunteers working together to provide hands on experiences educating our young people on the importance of economics of life,” said Chiddick. “This is a great organization with a rich history here in southeast Michigan. I have had the opportunity to be part of JA's unique volunteer-based teaching approach combining their proven curricula with the ability to share personal and professional experiences with students. More than 40,000 young people will be impacted by JASM in 2014 in partnership with 1,900 dedicated volunteers. The organization’s programs change lives by giving young people the tools to thrive and teaching three crucial lessons: personal financial responsibility, workforce readiness and entrepreneurial thinking.
