The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are assessed based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.
To be eligible, an employee nominates their employer to receive the achievement. The company’s human resource department is contacted to complete an extensive questionnaire regarding policies and practices. Employees are then randomly selected to participate in an anonymous confidential survey about their work environment. The data is submitted to an independent market research firm to examine the surveys and companies receiving the highest points are selected as one of Metropolitan Detroit's 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For.
